Flow 03:54
Slow down I can't keep up We've been told we're failing, Yet transitions are speeding Giving up never felt so hard And it's killing me, killing to hear your stories Tell me fantasies and comfort me to sleep One day your rules will find you under your skin Living traditions of your next of kin I've found the terminal that we can commit To bring back habits we've thrown away So your mug has never left your throne Come closer you're too far To hear all your absence Now me? I've been the same as before Watching all your moves right from the sidelines Wish the dining table had separated us One day your rules will find you under your skin Living traditions of your next of kin I've found the terminal that we can commit To bring back habits we've thrown away Now look! My insecurities nail affection to the wall I've lost my privilege down the hall Don't draw the curtains just yet One day your rules will find you under your skin Living traditions of your next of kin I've found the terminal that we can commit To bring back habits we've thrown away

Don't Run 03:33
Don't sketch for me the perfect lines I've gone too far behind the blinds Be sold on her impending tears She told of things she wish she didn't have Despite the years we faced I'm coming home Can we protest your decision to fix my bones? Pretend you never loved before She tends to all the household chores I'm sold on her impending tears She told of love she wished she never had Despite the years we faced I'm coming home Can I protest your decision to fix my bones? Don't run I'm counting down to your revival Now son, Your downfall was intended Turn around and calm the seas Face it all enjoy your plea Got my back turned to formality The lion's coming, the lion's coming Despite the years we faced I'm coming home Can I protest your decision to fix my bones? I'm longing for the gun I'm longing to see the one Like the space in between the trees So listen, reach out for me Don't run I'm counting down to your revival Now son, Your downfall was intended Don't run I'm counting down to your revival Now son, I am your courage

shuku fuku 04:21
I feel it shaking in me And it's getting slightly out of hand Don't ask just get it done with Move over Are you listening? (Please don't give up!) Dismantle You're unprepared Hold me close so I can't compare It's time to recognize these countless labels (They sing of abstract art) They live like many others They're actions go unnoticed like their hearts (Now see them grasp at their own hearts) (We are) So lift to me another hundred Learn to see between the method Keeping us clear From the sea You could've done it so much... Keeping us clear From the sea You could've done it so much better (They sing of abstract art) (Now see them grasp at their own hearts) I'll keep these gates wide open But I don't want to I'll keep these gates wide open So let her in, let her in

On the Edge 04:27
There is no glory in war The victors they write history Leading in pride Let them say I lived in your time Let them say you'll never be right On the edge On the edge They will envy us On the edge Any moment might be our last We will never be here again There is no honor When innocents die for their continent Leaving by fire Let them say I lived in your time Let them say you'll never be right On the edge On the edge They will envy us (They've been our hearts) On the edge Any moment might be our last (They've been our hearts) We will never be here again On the edge On the edge They will envy us On the edge Any moment might be our last (Let them say) (I've been sent down from Above to tell you that We will never be here again) We will never be here again

This stagnant ship's not going anywhere I'm sure your lips aren't sealed so tell me your direction I'm just gonna spell it out for you I can't believe their choice I'm in no place to complain I forgot the ending scene right from the start Holed up in debt too large so tell me your recollection What exactly are you hinting at? My angel's left my side Leaving her halo behind Your eyes are blind, your eyes are blind You're falling down too deep Why can't you please just take me up On tales of flight to fill my cup We're sailors on machines We're sailors on sinking ships Contending chains you've brought it upon yourself I've seen the look you give so tell me your connection See home is a haven in this heartless world My time's been up for awhile Fine while it lasted Your eyes are blind, your eyes are blind You're falling down too deep Why can't you please just take me up On tales of flight to fill my cup We're sailors on machines We're sailors on sinking ships We count our lessons so out of reach Promises of tension aren't hard to keep Use servant systems Why don't you see? The world isn't as cruel As you take it to be Why can't you please just take me up On tales of flight to fill my cup We're sailors on machines We're sailors on sinking ships

Suspension 04:09
So far you've come forth To serve through the ages Please leave it behind And I must confess how My gifts were unused now Please leave it behind Come now let's search for your parents I'm sure they're hiding somewhere You're true but not subtle enough It's worth more value than gold Please leave it behind Please leave it behind And keep it in line Come now let's search for your parents I'm sure they're hiding somewhere From the ground I can hear them They're screaming, "Son, go ahead." I've got heaven in my midst but could not see it So blind like the love that we shared in secret From darkness this light shines greater than the sun Please prove to me deeply you'll keep me in your arms (In your arms) So I said I'm ready to breathe anew (For you) So I said I'm ready to breathe anew (For you) I'm ready to breathe for you

about

'Not Good Enough' is the debut solo EP from multi-instrumentalist and producer, Nathan Khoo under the recording alias, Cacolo.

A large number of the songs are based on the whimsical comics anthology series, 'Flight'. Either that or various experiences I've come across during my life up till now. Be sure to click on the track titles to get additional information and lyrics for the songs.

about

Cacolo Singapore

Having been conceptualised in late 2011, Cacolo is the solo musical project of multi-instrumentalist and producer, Nathan Khoo, based in Singapore.

The musical style has been described as being an extravagant blend of electronic and indie rock. Even so, his tracks have observed ambient and orchestral segments as the cherry on top of an already amazing cake (chocolate, preferably).
